To better understand your data, numbers can be represented visually in a chart. On the Insert tab, you can choose from a variety of chart types, including column, line, pie, bar, area, and scatter. The basic procedure for creating a chart is the same regardless of what type of chart you choose. As data changes, the chart will automatically update.
Different types of charts represent data in different ways.

In this class, you will learn how charts can be used to represent data. You will create multiple charts including columns, lines, and pie. You will format the charts in order to present the data in an easy-to-understand layout.
Data can be further analyzed by creating timelines and forecasting data forward or backward. Data can be added, edited, and removed from a chart. Sparklines show a mini chart embedded in a cell to show trending without taking up a lot of screen space.
